A nine-month review has been launched into why a high proportion of looked-after children end up in the criminal justice system.

Publicised by CommunityCare, the review, established by the Prison Reform Trust is seeking evidence from all those who have experience of the criminal justice system and the care system. Including:

  • Children and Young people
  • Families
  • Carers
  • Social Workers, and
  • Youth Offending professionals
